The Tea Egg is an exciting new tea infuser that just recently won an honorable mention for the Red Dot Awards. It is made of silicone, is easy to use, and was designed to surprise the user’s senses. A package design that is just as unique as the product was essential, as well as a trade show booth design to help promote the product and get the user to experience it first hand.

The package was designed with the slight resemblance of a metronome, which keeps the time for musicians, which correlates with tea because different kinds of tea are supposed to be steeped for different amounts of time. The bamboo texture was added to help create a tranquil feeling, which is a goal for many when cozying up with a cup of tea. Lastly, the interior’s organic pattern was influenced by the shape of saturated tea leaves after the tea has been infused. The final trade show booth, manufactured by Nimlok, was chosen for its inviting layout for people to come and try the product for themselves. The booth has a stove and mini fridge built in, which allows prospective customers to try the product before purchasing it, with a shelving unit conveniently located so it can also be bought on site. The unique shape of the Tea Egg was used to create an interesting pattern to grab the viewer’s attention and peak the user’s curiosity. One of the panels of the booth was also designed to show the Tea Egg’s ingenious color system for different types of tea, along with information about the different health benefits of different kinds of tea as well as the instructions on how to properly steep them.
